How we Roll at Gumformative

This is a chewing gum blog.  Why?   Because there are no other chewing gum blogs on the internet (or that I know of).  Yeah, there are candy blogs but who cares about candy?  I just want to talk about gum.

This site will focus on a couple things:
  • chewing gum reviews
  • topics relevant to chewing gum
As for the reviews themselves, there will be a review system as follows:
  • Duration - How long the gum lasts (out of 10)
  • Flavor - How good the gum tastes (out of 10)
  • Awesomeness - Personal discretion used to rate the gum (out of 10)
I established this rating system based on my years of experience chewing gum.  In addition, there are some gums that stand out as far as this system goes:
  1. Trident Tropical Twist - is PERFECT.  It gets 10/10 in Duration, Flavor, and Awesomeness.  Thus, it sets the bar for what a perfect gum is.

  1. Lotte Xylitol Gum - and yes, it is called "Xylitol" is an Asian gum that literally lasts for 5 seconds.  Therefore, it has Duration rating of 0/10 even though it tastes pretty good and has some nice packaging.

  1. Mad Croc Power Peppermint Energy gum - the absolute worst flavored gum I have ever tasted gets a 0/10 in the flavor category.

  1. Dubble Bubble - this gum is about as generic as chewing gum as you can get.  Who cares that it set a standard and has a rich history?  It's packed with sugar and has one flavor: bubblegum.  Not only that, but it doesn't even blow as big a bubble as the name implies.  0/10 for Awesomeness
